Our 2025 Beginning Beekeeping class, Saturday, March 8th, was a huge success.
Unfortunately we were unable to schedule a second introductory class for this Spring. Please continue to check this page for information about new upcoming classes.
This was a day long class on bees and beekeeping from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
The all-day class presented in-depth information for beginning beekeepers.
We discussed the ins and outs of beekeeping and how to get started.
What equipment do you need.
Where do you get bees.
How to manage bee infections and other concerns.
There were demonstrations showing how to open and examine the hive. Every student had a chance to get some hands on experience and looks for queens (and other sights) in the hive!
