The Central Valley Beekeepers Association held its 2024 Spring Introductory Beekeeping class on March 2nd.

This day long class on bees and beekeeping was held on Saturday, March 2nd from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The all-day class presented in-depth information for beginning beekeepers. While the weather didn't cooperate all of the time, we had enough of a break in the rain for live demonstrations showing how to open and examine the hive. Every student had a chance to get some hands on experience and queens were spotted in every hive!
